A rare case report of fibrous hamartoma of infancy: Cyto-histopathological correlation

Fibrous hamartoma of infancy is a rare, benign soft tissue tumor that typically occurs within the first two years life. The histogenesis unclear. It most commonly found in axilla, shoulder, inguinal region, and chest wall usually solitary malformation located subcutaneous or reticular dermis. Local recurrence uncommon treatment largely successful by local excision. clinical course prognosis excellent. We describe 7-month-old male with mass on his left arm progressively increased size. management pediatric patient presents challenge. differential diagnosis includes numerous malignant tumors. physical appearance characteristics child may suggest process; however, Hamartoma Infancy should be included diagnosis.
